About CPC

Community Partnership for Children (CPC) is a non-profit organization that promotes excellence in the care and development of young children in Grant County. We work with childcare providers, educators, community partners, and partners at the State level to provide them with the resources they need to succeed.

We educate and advocate for sustainable policies and practices that support early childhood development. We also identify and create collaborative projects that close existing barriers within childcare and the local workforce to better meet the increased needs of families and businesses.

Did You Know?

  • In 2021, CPC established an early childhood coalition to increase collaboration and resources among local partners.

  • CPC created the Family Leadership Team (FLT) to empower local families to advocate for their children's needs and to serve as change agents in their communities.

  • CPC conducted a Community Needs Assessment to identify the most pressing needs of families and children in the community.

  • CPC partnered with local organizations to launch a new after-school care program, Kids Space, to provide educational and enrichment opportunities for children after school.

  • CPC provides ongoing support to new home-based childcare businesses to help them succeed.

  • CPC collaborates with a range of ancillary support services, including early intervention and home visitation, to ensure that all children have access to the resources they need.

  • CPC has increased local early child education (ECE) workforce opportunities by supporting the growth of family childcare homes.
