Empowering Families, Nurturing Children
At Community Partnership for Children, we believe that strong families build strong communities. That’s why we offer two dynamic, culturally responsive training programs designed to empower parents and caregivers with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to support their children’s development and well-being. Whether you're seeking to strengthen your parenting skills, build community connections, or advocate for your child’s education and health, our Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors and Family HUI programs provide meaningful opportunities for growth, support, and transformation. Below is a description of each training program.

Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors is a remarkable program designed specifically for parents/caregivers with children aged 0 to 5.

Through both in-person and virtual trainings, CPC supports parents in gaining insights into early childhood development, family well-being, and positive outcomes for their children.
A few of the program components:
- Brain Development: Sessions cover successful methods of brain development.
-
Early Childhood Development: Key aspects (cognitive, linguistic, physical, and social-emotional) are addressed.
-
Early Literacy: Strategies for fostering literacy skills.
-
Healthy Well-Being: Promoting overall health and well-being.
This initiative truly opens doors for parents, providing them with essential tools and knowledge to nurture their children’s growth and well-being.

Family HUI a trauma-informed, peer-led parenting program designed to support families with children aged 0 to 5.
