School Age Program

Kids Space was created to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, during after-school hours, school breaks, and summer months, fostering learning and enrichment through engaging activities.

Looking for enriching after-school or summer care for your child (5-12 years of age)?
Kids Space has you covered!

Kids Space After School/Summer Program is a pilot program that was established in 2022 as a collaboration between CPC, Town of  Silver City, Silver Consolidated Schools, Western New Mexico University, the Southwest Council of Governments, and The Commons.

The overall goal is for the program to PIOLT in other locations, show sustainability, and then be stationed in the NEW Silver City Recreation Center.

The program was initiated by CPC's Family Leadership Team (FLT) who identified a need for after-school and summer childcare in the community.
