Child Care Assistance
Child Care Assistance helps income-eligible families pay a portion of child care costs while they work, attend school or training programs, job search or other eligible qualifying activities. Any parent or legal guardian who is working, going to school, actively looking for a job, or participating in a job training program who needs help with child care expenses. The applicant applying for child care assistance must also be a resident of the state of New Mexico.

HMS Family Services Car Seat Program
HMS Family Services partners with Safer New Mexico Now to provide car seats to families who qualify for programs like Medicaid, WIC, or New Mexi-Kids. Community Health Workers offer education on proper installation, and a $35 fee is recommended per seat, with waivers available based on need. To apply, call (575) 800-1467 ext. 6 and request an appointment.
